In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection.
These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on to test your ideas a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter. To find out more about the Tedx program click here

On many levels Covid 19 has already changed the way we do things and it’s impact will continue to affect our decision making. We have all experienced incredible challenges that effect the global community as well as our local and regional communities.
We brought together this year some outstanding speakers from our local community and outside to inspire, educate and entertain our audience. Game changers, entrepreneurs, academics and more will be here to encourage discussion and ideas.
TEDxSwansea is all about our regional community bringing the best local talent to our stage to bring fresh Ideas, Inspire, educate and entertain. Together with our partners we will provide an amazing platform a flag ship event for the City.
TEDx is a very prestigious event that is recognised globally with over 23.5 Million followers. This event raises the profile of our city.
